Personal Training

The consultation

Very simply this is our opportunity to get to know you a little better and for you to meet your trainer. We understand this can be a daunting experience for some especially if it’s your first experience of personal training. We will ask you to complete a quick consultation form which will highlight current activity, any contraindications to exercise, your nutritional habit and lifestyle habits. Importantly we will want to know your motivation to exercise and your fitness goals.

Goal setting

Our experienced team are experts in then setting measurable, realistic goals to be achieved in an agreed timeframe. We are very straight forward in our demands from you as a client and if you follow our guidance you will achieve your results. We use several reliable methods to track your progress and set goals. Such as our body composition machine which measures water hydration, fluid retention, metabolism, muscle weight and body fat. Typically these figures will be measured every 4-6 week with test dates set in advance.

Nutritional planning (included in all of our personal training packages)

In order to maximise the results from exercise it’s vitally important that you eat well. Just like exercise nutrition should be tailored to the individual. We believe you should eat balanced meals regularly, choosing quality food and avoiding anything processed. Through the body composition test we are able to suggest the amount of food you have to consume daily to achieve best results. This is calculation from your activity levels and metabolism.

Exercise

The amount of contact time you book with your personal trainer is your decision. However we suggest a minimum of 1 session per week. Simply the more contact we can have with you the better. Your sessions will be structured to help you quickly progress. They will be tailored to your goals, varied, fun and educational. Your programme might also include workouts to do at home or at the gym.
